Humans, Nature, Future

These are three words heavy with meaning that are now in complete contradiction. Humans and nature are in an advanced phase of separation, the future for nature is a complete upheaval to adapt to all the junk emitted or thrown away by humans, and humans have no future in the short term, no only because of the evolution of nature but above all because of the decay of their social system.

It is to face this that we created this association, which aims to give a future to today's children and to the adults who accompany them, by saving a piece, the largest possible, of humanity.

A little text for you, candidate, candidate, to create a farm of life.

You have decided to get involved in the creation of a farm of life.

It’s a huge project. But you can carry it out with peace of mind.

The only quality you really need is being human. It still takes a few additional qualities such as altruism, compassion, the desire to communicate with others. But these qualities are learned very well if your life in this civilization has not predisposed you to act in this direction.

As your action is voluntary, you obviously have to find something other than money to compensate for your involvement.

There are many ways that an initiator finds reasons to act. Each individual has their own.

Generally speaking, we can say that these reasons have their roots in the new, really dramatic situation for humans, and in the ability of a piece of humanity to build a lifeboat to survive the storm that is already there and to live after in conditions as pleasant as now for most people.

Do we have another solution? Many associations advocate a paradigm shift in society by imposing a drastic reduction in transformations, in GDP, in today's society.

We find the followers of degrowth, those who seek autonomy on a farm in Lozère, in a fortified castle in New Zealand or in Sweden, and many other descriptions more or less eccentric, at least very approximate.

Life is a complex system that requires mastering material and human aspects:

Produce food, every day, all year round, despite illnesses, accidents, climate attacks, pollution that will continue even if the whole industry stops, human behavior more likely to fight than patiently planted his cabbages.
Prepare humans so that after a few years of learning they will find a new balance where selfishness will be replaced by solidarity, or violence will be supplanted by altruism, or joy will be built by human relationships.
The solution lies in two words: "prepare".

Our solution, your solution, is the result of unavoidable rules such as those of permaculture, agroforestry, balances between the comfort of humans and the implications on nature, the reconstruction of natural cycles, for a drastic respect of balances that nature has practiced for thousands of years without fail.

A farm of life is a place where life is perpetuated in all aspects that ensure the development of intelligence, love, joy and the quiet pleasure of living.

Of course, it is illusory to think that this life will be a long quiet river, there will be difficulties, dramas, storms, but it will not be more serious than what we are living today, and we will have more strength in ourselves and more attention from our neighbors than today.

Your mission, to you, the initiators, is to begin this work very quietly, with the serenity that befits the achievement of a great work. You will not be able to coerce people or events. You have to do the right thing at the right time and based on the strengths and skills that will come together in your community.

A farm is not limited to its area of one hectare. It continues in the intelligence of the farmers, in their skill, in their love. And it's up to them to solve the problems that arise and will naturally arise to do whatever it takes on a daily basis.

It will take a lot of passion, care, for a lasagna mound to produce stronger vegetables than those produced by today's market gardeners, and which will therefore be much less susceptible to disease and predator attacks, more healthy too, so that humans regain a health that makes them stronger too.

These mounds will have to allow the microorganisms which have known how to do this for thousands of years without ever failing to synthesize the food of the plants which will be much more densely established and much more productive than our traditional market gardening.

Our grandparents in the post-war years produced up to seven successive sets of vegetables on the same area in the same year. They didn't have chemical fertilizers, the phosphates that travel so far now, or the chemicals that are absolutely essential today.

They used horse manure or chicken litter which was a real biological bomb for their flower beds. They were working a lot and making quite a few mistakes that we can fix today.

Our grandparents fed six million people and up to eight million by cultivating on the belt of the Paris region, for ten years, before products from other regions could circulate and supply Parisians.

With lasagna hillock techniques, we can replace much of human labor with the action of earthworms and microorganisms that we re-implant in an imitation of what the forest does.

We know that such a structure retains humidity and even, through the action of earthworms which go to great depths at night, regenerates it, which is a considerable asset in a world where water goes become a rare and therefore precious commodity.

Of course, we will have to protect our crops from the heat of the sun. But it should be within the reach of our engineers and agronomists. Farms will become specialists in the manufacture of doormats.

Other otherwise difficult challenges await us in fields such as medicine, to re-establish preventive medicine where the doctor seeks more to strengthen good health than to cure diseases produced by excess or inappropriate behavior.

The fact that the doctor's work is no longer measured by the wealth he accumulates but by the good health of his patients should allow medicine more oriented towards people and their quality of life.

This will certainly allow us to take a closer look at alternative medicines in the “big pharma” business.

Nevertheless, many problems will have to be attacked head-on, such as the production of certain drugs essential to the survival of many patients, such as insulin. It will also be necessary to find alternatives to the debauchery of equipment very greedy in energy and which, therefore, will not be able to function any more (scanner, MRI, radiology, etc ..).

These are your concerns, dear initiator or dear initiator, and it will suffice for you to emit desires at the right time for all your farmers to deploy treasures of courage, intelligence, strength and skill to make you feel queen or king (be careful to keep a cool head).

The organization of the farms is so conceived that their forces can only grow and spread from place to place.

Each farm is like a cell in the human body. And you would be the DNA. That is to say that you must at the same time activate all the means that it must produce and maintain its regular behavior without deviating from the expected things.

Your work is therefore made of a great attention to the behavior of people, of an attentive listening of all those who want to exchange a moment with you.

Like the cells of the human body, farms are self-sufficient and all the intelligence for life is contained within the cell. They know how to adapt to their places of implantation thanks to DNA and naturally repair the wounds of life.

They know how to communicate with other cells and find help when the attacks are too strong.

That describes what I think is important. You are going to be the DNA of your farm. And this makes perfect sense when you look at the aspects of development security. Each farm is autonomous in its decisions, and if, for example, the association that gave birth to this project disappeared or, more subtly, were diverted from its pure intentions, the farms could continue to live independently in relation to this tutelage. now disturbed, and continue on her way.

We, the initiators of these farms, as for all farmers, the farm must bring us great serenity in daily life, in the qualities of the food that we can consume, in relationships with others, in the insight of interventions towards our health, our education, our security, our joy. And in this time which will be dramatic for many, this serenity is our most precious possession. For ourselves of course, but above all to bring to others everything they will miss.

I have painted a picture of what I believe is necessary, even essential, for us to be effective together.

Our work, our mission, must first and foremost be fun.

We know that we work with respect for all components of this world, even the most violent against humans, avoiding all violence, that our action is aimed at the highest possible moral standards:

Give a future to young people who otherwise are deprived of it.
